Todays blog post is more focused on the users and readers and the content you want to see here. Earlier this week I was looking at my calendar and trying to plan out blog posts for the next month. Trying to think of ideas that I thought would be engaging and that our community would want to read. I messaged a few people in the community and pitched a couple ideas, then I asked them what they would want to see more of. So that is what brings us here.
What do you all want to see more of? I have expressed it a few times in the past, we are not really merchants, so sometimes we need to ask merchants what is important to them. What kind of topics would you like to see us cover in our blogs more? I have broken the types down into a few general categories to get the discussion started. This is what I have come up with.
- SEO type posts, about strategy and how-to’s
- Conversion optimization posts about maximizing your current traffic
- Technical posts about how to modify your shop or working with thirty bees
- General e-commerce news, what trends are happening in the e-commerce world
- Videos of cats scared by cucumbers
If you have any other ideas that are not listed we would be open to them as well. Just let us know what interests you and we can make it happen!
Leave a comment, let us know what you want to learn about!
I’m curious about progressive web app (PWA), is it really the future of ecommerce?
Flipkart has used pwa, and looks promising
I think they very well could be, might be a bit difficult to make them work with e-commerce, but I suspect it can be done. I will look into this.
I wish to see a good book for developers and disigners. In this way more programmers will recommand your product to merchants
What kinds of articles would you like to see? We can post more things to our developer blog.
For example how to build a theme from scratch and also modules from zero to advanced features.
I love to read about e-commerce in general, preferable about e-commerce news, trends and conversion tips or analysis.
Great, we can do that.
If possible i would like to read how to implement the most important marketing tools such as google adwords, google shopping, facebook ads, etc. etc. and tips how to optimize. I know this is stuff what goes beyond thirtybees but its important for merchants how to connect and give the first steps how to setup. For example the help from google is very basic and the help on their websites is very much because its for all the users and not only the wbshops and thirtybees particullarly. Even after 15 years of e-commerce i look at it as if i get lost in a big forest 🙂
Good idea, I will see what I can do on that front. We should be releasing some things soon to help merchants deal with ad blockers and tracking people that use them. People enjoy their privacy, but it kills tracking of what works and what doesn’t.
