At thirty bees we take our merchants success seriously. We know our merchant’s come from all different background and all different walks of life, but they have one thing in common, they want to be successful. We are starting a new section of our site in the coming weeks that is going to be a huge undertaking. We are going to start publishing guides for our merchants. Don’t get me wrong, when I say guides, I am not talking about what the other companies publish. These are not going to be guides full of paid services and links to affiliate programs. Most everything in the guides will be free, we understand that it is hard to bootstrap a business without much funding; hey, we are doing that right now.
So far we have settled on a few main topics for the guides. Below is the list we have together so far.
- Email marketing
- SEO
- Setting up Google Analytics
- Speed Optimization techniques
- Blogging
These are the working topics we have come up with so far. We would love to hear any ideas our merchants would like to learn more about. Use the comment section at the bottom of the page and let us know what areas you would like covered so we can come up with a game plan and some topics. Also if you have expertise in an area that has already been listed or one you think should be listed and want to lend a hand, let us know. We would love some help with the guides.
I would think SEO is the first one to tackle. People still have no concept of ontologies and taxonomies and how SERP will extract entities from your word clusters.
Sounds like a good topic for you to write one on. I am vaguely familiar with the area.
I would like to read conrete approach to use Google Analytics with ecommerce/thirty bees. SEO is also intersting ofc, but it’s quite hard, since there is no concrete approach. There are many different strategies. For me content is king. That’s all I can say ^^
