ReCaptcha and Spam

2018-08-23T07:33:36-06:00February 21st, 2018|

Over the past couple of weeks, we have noticed an uptick in comment form spam. Most of the spam we have seen seems to be coming from either .ru email addresses or qq email addresses. Some shops we are seeing are getting hundreds a day, making it nearly impossible to handle normal business, because they are too busy deleting the spam messages. For those of you unfamiliar with me, I own dh42, we support currently around 600 PrestaShop websites and a steadily growing number of thirty bees websites. Since thirty bees is so closely related to PrestaShop, the problems we are [...]

2018-08-23T07:33:42-06:00February 14th, 2018|

The regulations around e-commerce shops are very wide sweeping and very vague at best. So we are left trying to decode the regulations to keep thirty bees users in compliance with them. If you have been eagerly waiting for thirty bees 1.0.4, you might have to wait a little bit longer. We are trying to figure [...]

2018-08-23T07:34:12-06:00January 29th, 2018|

We are going to do the exact same method we did with the last crowdfunding campaign with this one as well. We are going to present three module choices and let our community vote on the modules. In our last campaign, we got a little too ambitious with the modules, especially the module that the community chose.  We had over 350 hours of development time in the module. Using a CDN with thirty bees

2018-08-23T07:35:40-06:00January 12th, 2018|

Using a CDN is a great way to improve the performance of your site. If you are trying to wring all the performance possible out of your site, it is usually a good choice to use one.
