American Tax Decision

2018-08-23T07:20:18+00:00 June 22nd, 2018|

In case you missed it yesterday, there was an unfortunate taxing decision made yesterday that will end up effecting every American e-commerce site. The Supreme Court of the United States ruled that states can collect sales taxes on orders placed on the internet. This is a huge blow to small businesses in the US that operate online. The crux of the decision that was made, is that a business no longer needs a nexus in a state to be liable for collecting that state's sales tax. If you want to read more about the decision and some of its implications, this [...]

Once you sign up for an account, you should see a screen like the one below. Cookiebot will send you a registration key by email, you will need to enter that key here. Then you can start setting Cookiebot up. The module will ask you for your Domain Group ID. This is somewhat [...]

2018-08-23T07:24:23+00:00 May 9th, 2018|

You might have noticed that our articles all of a sudden have a player at the top of them. We have started toying around with releasing all of our future articles and blog posts as podcasts. I am sure by now you know we love technology and automation here. We are using the Amazon Polly service to automatically convert our text blog posts to audio. Crowdfunding a new updater

2018-08-23T07:25:43+00:00 May 7th, 2018|

Its time for another crowdfunding adventure. Last week we released thirty bees 1.0.4 without an updater. This is how all new releases are going to be released until we can have more time to focus on the updater.   Why do we need to crowdfund an updater? The reason is simple, time. Some of us here have spent so much time working on thirty bees that our work has started [...]
